MIX was retained to re-plan and re-design a newly constructed, seven-story 50,000 square meter retail shell. The project is located on the historic and world famous Wangfujing Street, one block north of China's premier street, Chang'an Avenue in the heart of Beijing. While carefully respecting the as-built structure, MIX introduced an entirely new concept to both evolve the standard China mall model and creatively recall the history of Wangfujing Street. The project is now in the construction document phase.
