The house site backs onto an area of remnant native bushland, and has panoramic views out to the ocean. The design is of a 1 bedroom house separated from a 2 storey guest wing by a deck under the cover of the main roof. This indoor/outdoor space is to be glazed with louvres and bifold doors making it usable in all weather conditions. The use of galvanised steel, fibre cement sheet, timber and glass reflect the relaxed nature of the house and its location
