This unbuilt project comprised the development of a new contemporary single family residence in the Bridge Crossing subdivision in the town of Raymond, Alberta, Canada.
The residence was to be a boldly simple form occupying a rectangular suburban lot designed to address the client program and take advantage of a subdued street presence, north light and south views which open immediately to green space shared by three adjacent residential lots. Materials are likely to reveal the tectonics of construction and be crafted from simple finishes exposed to make the home comfortable, cost effective and low-key.
An early alternate concept for the home is also shown.
