Located in one of the most bustling neighborhoods in Mexico City, this project was born from the task of transforming a space originally used as a residential building garage into a new showroom for one of Mexico's top-positioned vintage fashion and accessories stores.
Externally, its access is discreet, inviting visitors to enter the showroom through a hallway that narrows as it progresses, composed of large, continuous concrete panels and mirrors that play with the user's visual spatial perception, conveying a sense of sequence and spaciousness upon entering the main space.
A subtle combination of refined, precise finishes such as carpentry and ironwork and more raw, utilitarian finishes such as corrugated sheet metal and polished concrete were utilized for the material palette.
