Located in the former baggage claim area of Terminal 2 at Salgado Filho Airport, in Porto Alegre, the Voe Vessen space was designed for the Casacor RS 2025 headquarters, proposing an innovative work ecosystem that rethinks the future from an architectural perspective, combining sustainability, technology and human well-being.
LISTENING
It all starts with people: designing environments is also about designing lighter, more horizontal and meaningful relationships; this is how this space was conceived - an architecture that organizes, but does not limit. The solutions respect different bodies, routines and sensory needs. We used neuroscience tools applied to architecture to generate data that guided intentional decisions, resulting in a clear diagnosis of the human, technical and symbolic needs of the project.
STRATEGY
Inspired by the OfficeXperience concept, the environment values neuroarchitecture, regenerative design and corporate hospitality. The space offers three main - dynamic and sensory - areas, designed to support different ways of working and interacting, directing people towards collaboration, focus and conviviality: a reflection about new beginnings and the power of connections.
The first space is the Arena, for creating and transforming. This place welcomes different forms of interaction: from spontaneous talks to informal meetings. Conceived as a territory open to share (ideas, perspectives and experiences), this area was designed as a space for breathing and listening, where the architecture proposes a strategic pause for the thought, the conversation and the co-creation.
In the second sector, the coworking space, every detail was designed to support attention and enhance autonomy. The desks have height adjustment and individual lighting controlled by the user. The space was divided between a focus area and a quiet area, creating distinct (but connected) environments, allowing for more freedom of choice and more comfort throughout the day. The proposal is precise: to create environments that care for those who work, respecting different ways of being and working.
The third space, the regeneration area, was designed to support well-being and, at the same time, bring people closer together. Flexible, adaptable and open, it fosters spontaneous conversations, encounters between different areas and less hierarchical relationships in daily life. With natural vegetation, comfortable furniture and diverse configurations, this space supports companies that understand that culture is also built outside the meeting room.
EXPERIENCE
At a time that work environments are no longer just functional spaces but strategic tools for well-being, belonging and innovation, Voe Vessen presents itself as an architectural manifest about this new future. Designed based on a user-centered methodology, the space embodies some of the main directions of contemporary corporate design, such as sensory environments (which reduce stress and stimulate creativity), fluid and flexible spaces (which adapt to different activities and rhythms), connection with nature (with biophilic materials and regulated lighting for comfort and productivity) and attention to acoustic, visual and tactile comfort (creating microclimates for concentration and socialization).
The result are spaces that inspire, strengthen brands and generate real impact.
