The
residence of a tv hostess and her two small children, a wide apartment of 990
sqm in Jardim Paulista neighbourhood, in São Paulo, was filled with Guilherme
Torres taste. Determined to create a modern interior to the property of neoclassical
exterior, the young architect commanded the renovation proposing a contemporary
approach to the floor plan.
Floorings
in ebonized wood, boiserie applied on
the walls and a punctual illumination were the necessary elements to create a
living room with great proportions and integrated with the dining room. Two identical
carpets, placed one in each space, make the classical mark. Guilherme Torres is
also a designer and a lot of his furniture was used in the decoration of the
apartment. One of which is the Jet dinner table, with this dinner table
Guilherme translates his talent as a furniture designer with a special taste
for big proportions.
The
colors gain freedom in the home theater, another highlight of the project, with a daring combination of purple and orange tones, expressing the playful side of the owner. The master suite returns to the black
and white concept, but with sensual touches, with a big sheep carpet covering
the floor.
