In May 2021, Visma moved into their new Danish headquarters in Carlsberg City, Copenhagen. LAIKA's task has been to completely furnish the 20,000 m2 sizeable new house, spread over a large greenspace, restaurant and meeting center on the ground floor and a total of 1000 jobs on the other four floors.
From being scattered in several locations in Copenhagen and the surrounding area, Visma's companies are now gathered under one roof, enabling entirely new types of synergies and knowledge sharing.
After a course of workshops and user involvement with all departments, LAIKA has designed work environments that meet and support the wishes and needs of the employees. Based on the building's layout, the areas around the three beautiful atrium spaces, as well as zones between the desks, are decorated with a wide range of differentiated environments, including fly in spaces, flexible workshop areas, focus areas, open meeting areas and stand ups.
Visma has had the courage to let LAIKA's architects and designers develop a unique and special look and feel, which has resulted in contemporary and strong design expression, powerful color combinations and beautiful encounters between classic design, new quirky designs and installations, and a wide range of special designs. The feedback from Visma's employees is very positive. In addition to an enthusiasm for design choices, colors and materials, joy is expressed by meeting and starting to involve the environments in the many directed needs of the working day.
