Vino Volo is a contemporary wine bar with an alluring charm that offers gourmet dining, retail wine and specialty wine. Located in Bethesda Maryland and soon to open another location in the Tysons Corner area of Virginia; the atmosphere breeds an environment that is inviting to both wine novices and connoisseurs. The welcoming and relaxed ambiance of the space is accentuated by materials used in the wine making process. To generate the design of Vino Volo Collective Architecture cultivated the owner’s vision of a wine country casual style to create an environment that reflected a country rustic look merged with a casual modern space.
The design incorporates a wine bar and casual dining section carefully integrated with a retail section. The wine bar located in the casual dining area has a rustic yet innovative appearance; accentuated with a zinc counter top and accented with a cork front. Wine crates decorate the walls of the room generating a true feeling of a wine country casual environment. The retail area adds to the alluring charm of Vino Volo providing a place for guests and customers to seek out the expert opinions of Vino Volo’s staff. The walls inspire creativity; designed with brick, reclaimed wood and accented with recycled wine barrels.
