A Dynamic and Human-Centered Workspace for Vimeworks
Vimeworks, a software development company based in Quito, sought to transform one of its offices into a friendlier, more dynamic, and stimulating environment for its employees. The intervention was designed with a focus on flexibility, collaboration, and the well-being of those who inhabit the space every day.
From the entrance, a welcoming atmosphere unfolds through the incorporation of personalized lockers for employees, accompanied by bonsai trees that bring freshness and balance to the environment. This gesture is complemented by a wooden slatted ceiling that enhances the sense of warmth and originality from the very first encounter with the space.
At the heart of the office lies a large shared worktable designed to encourage freedom of movement, allowing each person to choose their workspace according to their needs. To foster transparency and fluid communication, a meeting room enclosed with glass partitions was integrated, while the managerial office was conceived to provide privacy and comfort without losing its connection to the overall environment.
This design not only optimizes the functionality of the space but also reflects Vimeworks’ innovative spirit, promoting an atmosphere where creativity and collaboration can flow freely.
