Back in 1994, when villaVISION was build, you could build either amazing architecture or low energy houses with small windows and dull architecture. villaVISION exhibited all kinds of amazing spaces yet saving 50% of the energy consumption. villaVISION had the largest integrated PV of any villa in Denmark back then and received a EU award for best European integration of solar energy. It was the first Danish house with broadband internet access, pioneered house automation and has a double building envelope with minimal thermal bridges. Now, when this technology is slowly becoming normal, the beauty of the spaces, material and daylight prevails
