Scottsass Associati was approached to develop a plan for six houses on Jasmine Hill, a hill with a view over Singapore. Because of the different plans, planting, building facades and the use of color, each villa had its own identity. After numerous companies were approached in Italy, England and France for manufacturing the desired color, Koninklijke Tichelaar Makkum was also asked to deliver a solution.
For Koninklijke Tichelaar Makkum it was a relatively simple task. For the first time it became clear that the knowledge and experience acquired in performing restorations could also be applied to contemporary architecture interesting.
