Situated in Todt Hill, the highest natural point in the five boroughs of New York City and the highest elevation on the entire Eastern Seaboard from Florida to Cape Cod, the site is a pristine forested natural landscape characterized by an alternance of mid-century houses and modern ones. A significant challenge was to minimize impact on the sensitive site. The primary design intentions were to engage the landscape. This 10,000 square foot residence is strategically located on the lot to take advantage of the site’s expansive canopy of trees.
Five-story house whose interiors have made with marbles, doors, decorations and furnitures from Italy.
