The redevelopment of XVIII century Villa Manodori completes the renovation project of the Venturini Baldini agricultural estate Roncolo 1888, which also includes Dimora Ancini and La Limonaia.
The restoration work on the villa was carried out with a conservation perspective, focusing particularly on the original spaces and paying special attention to the pictorial elements of the frescoes that adorn the walls and ceilings of the rooms. The intervention has brought back the splendor of these frescoes. In terms of layout, the existing layout of the villa on the ground floor and first floor was largely preserved, with two suites designed for the latter. The second floor was redesigned to create four additional guest rooms.
The conservative restoration has brought to light the original colors of the wooden ceilings, which have become an integral part of the design choices. The in-depth study of the existing color spectrum was the starting point in selecting interior finishes and materials. All spaces feature custom-designed furniture, complemented by other designer furnishings and illuminated by iconic lamps, in a continuous pursuit of harmony between historical elements and contemporary choices.
