Villa la tour
An existing single story residence in a Prime location, Airport residential area, with a plot size of 646sqm: the client requested for three (3) complete houses peculiar to their specific needs. They requested for a retail craft building on site, with a 10 minimum car parking slots.
A vertical approach was adapted due to the land size
Going vertical tends to loose the residential feel of being able to access open spaces and the green outdoors. To be able achieve that residential feel was a pivot to achieving the best design
The Villa la tour was is a five (5) level residence:
- Basement
- 3 floors
- 100% green roof with a pool area (making up for no green outdoors)
All these encapsulated in a homogenous 2nd Skin, inspired by the bead craft (the profession of the client).
This second skin has multi-functions,
Firstly, it creates a permanent shade for the building
Secondly, it scenes private views to the building
And finally, it creates bejeweled aesthetes
