Nestled in the hills that stretch between the city and the high-low, hidden in a lush park, the villa is an example of upper middle class living where sophistication and culture come together in an example of quality and style.
The building dates back to the late 60s and has a sober and discreet architectural character that, from the outside, there is no indication to the refinement of the interior.
On the article, previously, had undergone two other studies that had carried out the restoration and modification of the interior to the ground and first floors. When the architect Luigi Angelo Tartaglia, creator of the restructuring, intervened, the house was out in the works: the plants had been made, the scale, and the floors were making the fixtures. Not easy, therefore, was the work of mending the existing design ideas with the architect. L 'intent was not to change the built, but to find solutions that would fit well on the choices of previous professional intervention giving a character of uniformity and consistency.
The villa is accessed after crossing the outer gate and arched an avenue that leads to a parking area is private for guests.
Since the construction of a slope, has a basement where they are located all local service: garage, cellar, laundry room, outbuilding for domestic workers, guest bedroom and a large hobby room.
The ground floor is the floor of the house of representatives. From the main entrance door, underlined by two bronze sculptures Deco leads to the foyer which is located in a central position relative to the entire volume of the house. Upon entering, on the right, enter it in the dining area, while to the left leads to the seating area. The portal of division between the foyer and the sofa area, has been shaped with a segmental arch that evokes a Serliana, in which the two oculi were replaced with two circles coated with mirror. The Deco style is the leitmotiv of the entire area representation and it can be read both in the furniture ,accessories and objects . The inclusion of copper paneling make the contemporary intervention. These panels have been used, where required, to conceal the pre-existing plant equipment; The wall copper in the living room, in fact, has a wavy pattern in order to accommodate the inside of the large radial elements, as well as that on the outer wall of the foyer. Copper was also used in the lining of the chimney-sculpture, Guatemala green marble, bordered by two large columns of copper lined with rosewood. The copper is also found in the tents of Zimmer & Rohde. The symmetry of the composition of the lounge area is enhanced by floor lamps designed by Archimede Seguso. A Louis XV desk of Dutch origin with floral marquetry is placed on the wall next to the fireplace. Above it a modern painting completes the wall of the main conversation.
Oriental rugs antique characterize the various areas.
A lacquered wooden frame delimits the upper walls of the living room, where the tracks are hidden and those curtains to hang paintings. The floor of the foyer, built by previous architects, is Brazilian marble "Pintaverde", white with carvings and intarsia light green, patterned circular oak flooring. The existing scale, highlighted by two circular steps on which rests a bronze sculpture deco, ebony pedestal, has a balustrade sculpture in bronze by the artist Mario Rossello always, characterized by the repetition of stylized trees. At the center of the dining room, an imposing wrought iron table POILLERAT with symbolic meanings in the legs and glass thick chipped. The chairs have the two head table with arms in bronze on the drawing.
The glass doors are always on call and styles Deco design with stylized calle drawn on the glass. Below the scale, to close the triangle vacuum, was placed a large sheet of tempered glass laminated with screen printed floral motifs, always inspired Deco balustrade as if the trees were born from the lawn below. The uprights positioned symmetrically with respect to the arched portal, the two radiator covers Flambeaux the input and the chandelier in the dining room are a design Arbus for Veronese made by Archimede Seguso, Paris, 1935.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, the master slabs of marble Rosa Portugal, already completed at the time of the last trip and completed with details that have adorned such as cherry frame that connects the upper plates themselves. A large elliptical mirror, always framed in dark cherry and bronze pillars, with little bulbs 20-watt, high above the sinks.
The master bedroom includes a large leather bed of Frau wisteria-colored, while the furniture in maple and cherry, as well as tables, are the designer's drawings. Also on the drawing is lacquered wardrobe maple and aluminum color of the son's room.
In the tavern the design has been completely changed to make the environment more dynamic and contemporary, but at the same time of the big picture. The floor was designed as a large fabric made with weft and warp of polychrome wood (maple, cherry, wenge: Margaritelli prefinished), the intersection of which were placed large slabs of stone Yellow Tancredi Middle Eastern origin. It was designed a fireplace with encaustic cobalt blue hood and lining of the mouth in black granite. In this environment was also conducted a kitchenette and all the carpenters are pickled ash beige in color on canvas. The bath area hobby is covered with stone slabs lapped equal to the floor with marble green.
