*Silence Born in the Harmony of Opposites*
This project began with the idea of creating a living space that offered not only an aesthetic experience but also an emotional experience. *Design decisions were made with the core principle that "simplicity is a conscious decision born from complexity."
Large-sized white porcelain tiles, with their natural grain patterns, created flow and continuity within the space. Then, light was addressed: Large windows brought natural light into the space during the day, while recessed LEDs and spotlights highlighted the details at night. Light became not only functional but also a central element of the atmosphere.
The kitchen, the focal point of the space, was designed as both functional and aesthetic. The contrast between matte black and matte white surfaces created visual balance. The island countertop was not only a prep area but also a connecting point with the living space. Linear ceiling lights created a contemporary yet theatrical atmosphere.
Floor-to-ceiling glass facades established a visual connection with the exterior. Earthy tones and soft textures were inspired by nature. Low-slung furniture created a sense of comfort and tranquility. The Alexander Black marble wall in the background created balance and depth.
The stairs became more than just structural; they became a spatial narrative. Cantilevered wooden steps and glass railings created a virtually floating form. Transparent glass modules defined the transitions, adding a sense of spaciousness and mystery to the space.
Modern and warm, simple yet inviting, open yet intimate… Every detail—material, light, and form—were brought together with conscious integrity.
