The single-family villa is situated on a rectangular plot of land on sloping terrain. Access to the property is planned from a public road running along the western side of the site.
The villa is designed to maximize the use of both the natural features and the created spatial characteristics of its location. It opens to the east and south, offering views of the surrounding greenery, while closing off to the north and west, where a public path and a larger apartment building with multiple balconies and window openings are located.
The villa consists of three levels. It features a circular split-level floor plan design in the basement and on the ground floor that follows the sloping terrain. The ground floor is characterized by walls that extend outward from the primary volume of the building. These architectural gestures direct views, create appealing micro-environments at the terrain level and act as a barrier against curious glances from passersby and neighboring properties.
Above the ground floor lies the upper volume, which houses the sleeping quarters. Due to its greater exposure to views and potential overheating, this upper volume is enveloped in a façade layer of vertical shutters. These adjustable shutters provide control over privacy and ensure a comfortable indoor climate.
The design of the villa is elegantly complemented by the outdoor spaces, which include various micro-environments, an infinity pool and multiple terraces extending from the living room, dining area and bedroom.
