The cottages are located in Niechorze in Western Pomerania less than 500m from the shore of the Baltic Sea and 3km from Lake Liwia Łuża.
Seven six-person all-season cottages for rent and a swimming pond were to be built on the recreational plot. One of the most important aspects in the design process was to provide future guests with as much privacy as possible, openness to the garden and a minimally invasive location for parking spaces.
The result is cottages with a footprint of just over 35sqm in a very attractive 'modern barn' shape with a gable wall of glass. The cottages are positioned on the plot so that there is a clear garden space in front of each gable wall. The side and rear walls are more austere. The few windows that had to be created to illuminate the rooms are positioned in relation to each other so that they do not 'look' into the neighbours. On the ground floor there is a bathroom, a living room and a kitchenette; on the first floor there are two bedrooms and a wc. The interior space is compact.
The lump of the bungalow is clean, so that even in a dense development it looks good and does not overwhelm. The façade is made of wooden planks in a vertical arrangement, the roof with a 45st pitch is covered with seamed metal sheets. There is a small terrace in front of the glazed gable wall.
