Artemis Villa
Concept Narrative
Artemis Villa explores architecture as an act of clarification. The project reinterprets an existing structure through the lens of spatial legibility, axial order, and experiential layering.
Thick stone walls are repositioned as tectonic anchors—structural elements that generate spatial axes and orchestrate movement. These linear alignments intensify depth and perspective while enabling environmental performance through natural ventilation. Structure becomes both organizer and atmospheric device.
Circulation is reconceived as narrative. A secondary stair, embedded within the façade, introduces an alternative vertical sequence—either enclosed and luminous, or suspended and weightless above the linear pool. Movement unfolds as choice, allowing multiple spatial scenarios within a single domestic framework.
Programmatically, the villa negotiates gradients of privacy. Public and intimate zones are articulated not through separation alone, but through calibrated visual continuity. Even where circulation is sequential, perception remains uninterrupted.
The longitudinal extension of the pool transforms it from a static element into a spatial axis—an inhabitable line between boundary and mass. Water becomes geometry; geometry becomes experience.
Artemis Villa ultimately proposes clarity as an architectural value—where structure, material, and movement converge into a coherent formal language.
