A contemporary reading of a Palladian villa: a central body and two wings.
In this project the aim was to translate into contemporary language the classic system invented by Andrea Palladio. The wings are the areas for daily functions, place for the living area and the bedrooms, while the main building, which is accessed by a dual-level element that recalls the typical tetrastyle of Palladio, is the site of representation to meet guests. They come into a large room fully open to the backyard where a portico frames the countryside where the pool is located. This is very large and for the most part low. People will be able to walk in the water without necessarily having to swim. It 'a place that recalls the ancient fishpond, always present in classical italian villas. Now it becomes the space where to hold parties or relax.
