Staying Strong In a Competitive Market
Since opening their first restaurant in 2003, Viet’s Choice has grown to become the largest Vietnamese restaurant chain in Hong Kong, with over twenty locations and plans for further expansion.
At the same time, the owners felt the time was right to refresh its brand identity and introduce a unifying theme to all its restaurants. They wanted to retain their current customers and reach new customers with an image promising a reasonably-priced, authentic Vietnamese meal in attractive, contemporary surroundings. This type of brand upgrade would help them stay strong in a very competitive market
Our Solution
We first conducted intensive market research to determine the most important facts about the existing market and customers. These facts helped guide our team to create the brand image that was most likely to appeal to the client’s customer base.
We then created and introduced all-original artwork and graphics and applied them to everything associated with the restaurant. From menus to interior decoration, each element of the restaurant was updated with new artwork.
While each location was refreshed with the new brand image, we were careful not to blindly apply the same design to each location. Our goal was to introduce an original, new interior design for each location that was specifically tailored to each site, while still maintaining the overall theme.
