Vicentina Residence
Renovation of modern residence from 70s, with minimal intervention in the house’s volume and refit of internal spaces.
On the pavement next to the street there are the garage, service room and other facilities. The ground floor, pavement for social use, has access by an external staircase with a steel roof covered with glass. On the ground floor, the integration between the front yard (facing the square), the kitchen, the living room and the back yard is made by movable wood partitions.
Upstairs, the master suite, bedrooms and bathroom are connected by a corridor with zenithal light.
The materials used are natural and based on wood, colorful hydraulic tile, cement floor and irregular sandstone. The sun, the light and cross ventilation assure the environmental comfort.
