We were brought in at a later stage to improve the interior design of this stunning two-story house. The house features a 6m high kitchen-living space with a golden floating connection between the guest and living sides. This feature inspired us to incorporate the golden detail in the design of bespoke furniture pieces, kitchens, living spaces, and bathrooms. We took care of every detail of the house, including selecting furniture, floor finishes, wall treatments, and interior lighting. Many of the lighting pieces draw inspiration from Kandinsky’s suspended art and geometry, which relates to the floating golden passage.
In this project, we also updated the space planning by adding a double-sided sofa and creating two spaces in the living area–one to watch TV and one to relax with friends and family closer to the kitchen dining. We also updated the master suite layout by opening the freestanding bathtub to the stunning sea views.
