Emergency House
This house was built as a two - story house on a narrow and long land in Ilsan for young and active couple. When I first saw the couple, I was in a bad mood due to the nature of the terrain. Although there seemed to be a lot of restrictions, I wanted to express the energy of rising energy to the exterior of the building by taking advantage of the vigor of the landlord couple. The mass line of the house's line graph expresses such energy fully by reminding the magnificent appearance of a white band rising toward the sky. Also, the buildings seen from the south are reminiscent of a rising stock chart.
Except for the shortcomings, the biggest advantage of this area is that it has beautiful scenery. In order not to miss this geographical feature, we have optimized the spaces of this house to the scenery of the front. The movie viewing space reminiscent of the royal seats of the opera has a layered structure like a theater stage on the inside, while the oblique structure of the building faces the landscape on both the plane and the cross section.
The white mass that does not reveal the inner space will protect the privacy of the landlord couple, but the windows of various sizes bring the landscape of the valley together. As a result, twisted masses and windows separate the inner and outer spaces and connect them together. And a group of angled windowpanes are applied to make the sloping mass more visible, and it gives the impression that the upward force is also rising.
