Scott & Deb Coldiron came to us with a finely crafted vision of creating finely crafted pizzas. Vesuvius Wood-Fired Pizza, in Ames Iowa, would hopefully be the first of many. Start with one shop that makes exceptionally high quality pizzas and see where the idea goes. Our job was to help them take this vision, their skills and a finite construction budget and create the first VWF Pizza.Scott did the leg work in Ames and landed on the location he thought would work. From there we designed a restaurant based on the same concept as a great pizza; simple, pure ingredients in a perfect blend of proportions.
