The new 3000m² Veritas Building is a purpose - built facility that provides a new home to the substantial campus
Library and the new student Learning Commons. The building also includes a cafe, multi- purpose function / lecture
space, a range of contemporary meeting and collaborative work spaces, staff offices and the AskACU central student
information point. The external works include covered walkways connecting the new facility to the existing campus buildings, creating a purposeful campus forecourt gathering space and amphitheatre.
Located centrally within the campus, the new Learning Commons acts as a meeting and gathering point for the students and staff and provides a new active hub invigorating the campus. The building design is informed by and relates to the existing significant campus buildings - Blackfriars and Signadou. This provides a sustainable and highperformance facility with contemporary education and workplace spaces which meet the current demands of educational pedagogy.
