Verde Sazón is a restaurant located in the heart of Barrio Italia, Santiago de Chile. The brief was to design a space that reflected the place’s culinary identity: natural, friendly, and authentic. From Estudio Well, we developed a sensory, heritage-minded interior design, preserving the essence of the original house while integrating contemporary elements. The result: a restaurant with a warm atmosphere, an eclectic aesthetic, and a visual narrative aligned with its cuisine.
Modern hedonism with local roots
The proposal stems from four guiding concepts: wisdom, nature, kindness, and authenticity. These pillars translated into a design that balances heritage with modernity, evoking a multisensory experience where noble materials, greenery, and classical arches coexist with clean lines, marble, and contemporary design.
The outcome is a minimalist yet somewhat eclectic space due to the blend of styles, with a strong focus on lightness and visual simplicity so that no element competes with another. A pleasure for the senses, what we call Modern Hedonism.
