Graziani + Corazza Architects is responsible for providing full architectural services from the site plan development to contract administration of this LEED certified community. From conceptual site plan to building occupancy, this LEED community has received recognition for its design and concepts.
G+C was responsible for the master planning and rezone submissions for each phase. A series of conversations enriched the development of the project and were a catalyst to bring forward the LEED neighbourhood visions that both the client and City anticipated. The mixed of building types and densities were critical in ensuring that the development would render a social and environmentally conscious project. This vision resulted in a successful development approval process.
The Metrogate Community is made up of Solaris 1+2, Ventus 1+2, Avani 1+2 and the newest edition Selene. Consisting of 2100 residential units the site is located next to a major vehicular artery and stephs to public transit and shopping hubs. The designs intent was to introduce a series of built forms that would act as a backdrop to a central urban park. This central park houses a mix of active and passive uses for both the public and community, and provides a sense of unification to the development.
