Venice Theme park is developed through a government program that revitalizes neighborhoods in critical areas of the city, through a comprehensive plan for social and urban interventions.
This park makes up the deficit consolidated public space for recreation, leisure and sport that did not have the macro sector integrated into a plan of river edge on the perimeter of the city of Temuco. This park due to its status as intensity of use and level within the Oversector, allowed the development of a highly participatory project a citizen of intermediate scale concept which accommodated massive and individual uses of local interest, such as integrating Chilean Traditional games where development as greased pole, troy, shuffleboard, etc. Besides massive acts scenarios, urban picnic platforms, including community where this park "BE URBAN" I will call.
This concept main idea was to develop a project, intermediate level, to respond to spatial Shortage in housing, as is a LIVING ROOM, which brings together family, where family integration, development of children, the invention of a child in community spaces, was not a priority at home. The predominant housing density, high land use in buildings collapse the territory, and this gap in the city, was transformed into an opportunity to increase and strengthen quality public spaces.
Therefore various spaces of continuous use triggers linked by an accessible inside the park, where the inert spaces are transformed into temporary spaces where their use was defined according to climate, season and festive period were designed ring.
The spaces were defined in a workshop context of present-future where the image should show this park to the city, having a land without identity project.
