The Venadero Residence was originally designed in 1926 by Clarence A. Tantau and is considered a pristine example of Tantau’s Spanish Eclectic style of architecture. Recognizing the historic value of the structure, the current owner embarked on an extensive restoration of the home. Great care was taken to reconstruct period details throughout the house. Alterations and additions, undertaken in the 80’s and 90’s were redesigned and reconstructed in order to work more harmoniously with the original design of the home. Finally, a new landscape was designed and installed to compliment this stunning piece of California history so that it may be enjoyed for generations to come.
