Vegas Extreme is a 42 acre extreme sports park located one half block off the Las Vegas strip next to the MGM Grand. Just as Walt Disney once innovated theme park design and changed the way the world is entertained, Vegas Extreme will take entertainment and extreme amusement to a new level. The site will be filled with extreme sports that require focus and a keen sense of space and energy. The sports include: 5 surf rider waves (novice to professional), 3 zip lines, a 7 acre shallow lake with a wakeboard tow and beach cabanas, 6 EMX tracks (novice to professional), BMX tracks, a skatepark, and a whitewater rafting course. All of the programs are linked by the XDeck, a raised platform that offers views of the entire park and provides a common concourse that acts as storage for sporting and mechanical equipment below and provides plenty of space for food and retail vendors above.
Vegas Extreme is flanked by three towers composed of repurposed shipping containers. One tower will house a growing farm that will supply organic produce to the other hotels on the strip along with the featured boutique hotel at Vegas Extreme. We are embraced by the two hotel towers as we enter the park with each room boasting 180 degree view of the parks attractions. Upper level suites provide 270 degree views from their private infinity pools as well as private access to the rooftop bar. The park will take advantage of small scale, low magnitude, vertical wind turbines along with an extensive solar field to produce enough energy to run 85% of the parks energy needs.
