This project is a renovation and addition to the historic McGibbon Hotel, located at a prominent corner on Main Street, Georgetown. The design includes a mix of street level retail and above grade residential suites - responding to the needs of a local community seeking an alternative to the mainstream condo market. The development features large suites, averaging an area of 1400 sq. ft., as well as multiple amenity areas, which offer a more spacious lifestyle for residents. A piece of the town's heritage is preserved with the McGibbon Hotel façade, inspiring the design of the lower floor addition that responds to the pedestrian friendly nature of Main Street, Georgetown. The residential units hover above and are enclosed in elegant glass volumes, serving as beacons for the revitalization of the area.
