This project is a renovation of the design school.
The school faces one of the main streets along Odori park in Sapporo.
The existing building has two glass facades facing the street.
Under the designer’s plan, the view from the outside would be a smooth line that highlights the depth and harmony of the school to create a warm impression.
In the hair-styling and make-up application classroom, the lessons are demonstrated in a manner very similar to an exhibition in a showroom.
The entire classroom is enclosed by an orange frame.
Mirrors are movable along the frame to make the space appear vibrant and lively.
