A DIALOGUE WITH ALL THINGS IS OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THIS PROJECT. THE BEAUTIFUL NATURAL ENVIRONMENT IN LIANGZHU AREA AND ITS RICH JIANGNAN CULTURAL CONNOTATIONS MAKE THE DESIGNER WANT TO PURSUE THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN PEOPLE AND THEIR OWN MINDS THROUGH THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN LANDSCAPE AND NATURE, THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN LIGHT AND WATER AND MOUNTAINS.
THE PROJECT IS SURROUNDED BY MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT TO THE LAKE. THE MOUNTAIN IS LIKE A LYRICAL AND HAZY POEM. THE DESIGN COMPLETES THE TRANSITION FROM ARTIFICIAL TO NATURAL, FROM THE CITY TO THE MOUNTAINS IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING TOWARDS THE LAKE IN THE BACK COURT. A NATURAL LANDSCAPE IS CREATED WITHOUT STICKING TO THE EXPRESSION OF FUNCTION AND AESTHETICS ALONE. DRIVEN BY EMOTIONS, A ROMANTIC SCENE WITH RESONANCE AND SPONTANEITY IS FULFILLED.
THE INITIAL CHALLENGES OF THE DESIGN INCLUDED THE SMALL AND IRREGULAR STRIP-SHAPED SITE, THE LARGE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE, AND THE CONSTRAINTS OF THE EXISTING BUILDINGS ON THE SITE. THROUGH INGENIOUS LANDSCAPE DESIGN, MODERN AND SIMPLE LINES ARE USED TO HIGHLIGHT THE KEY POINTS, THE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE OF THE SITE IS TRANSFORMED INTO ENGAGING FEATURES, AND A LARGE AMOUNT OF VEGETATION IS BROUGHT INTO THE INTEGRATION WITH NATURE. THE HISTORICAL PRECIPITATION AND MODERN GEOMETRIC APPRECIATION TOGETHER CREATE AN ELEGANT AND QUIET AESTHETIC SPACE.
AS THE SUN SHINES NATURALLY, WHEN THE VIEWER WALKS AT DIFFERENT ANGLES, EVERY SCENE SEEMS TO BE LOOKING FORWARD TO ENCOUNTERING THE SUN. SIMPLE AND ELEGANT BLUESTONE SLABS, NEAT AND ORDERLY GRID WALLS, FLUFFY AND NATURAL BUSHES, AND GRACEFUL TALLOW FOREST ARE HAVING DELICATE AND SOFT TONES. IN THE SPACE, MATERIALS BLEND IN WITH NATURAL TEXTURES, AND THE VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL DIMENSIONS ARE ORDERLY, RELAXED, AND WELL-DEFINED UNDER THE INTERTWINING OF LIGHT AND SHADOW.
THE WATERSCAPE AND THE STONE BLOCK ADOPT A UNIQUE FORM OF OCCLUSION, AND THE SHAPE OF THE LANDSCAPE WALL REVOLVES AROUND THE WAY PEOPLE WALK. ACCOMPANIED BY THE SOUND OF WATER FLOW, THE COZY RESTING PLATFORM FLOATS ABOVE THE WATERSCAPE, AND THERE ARE CONSTANTLY PROTRUDING BRANCHES FROM THE FLOWERS ON BOTH SIDES, WHICH ARE AT ONE’S FINGERTIPS. HERE, ANY BORING, NIHILISTIC, OR ANXIOUS LIFE EMOTIONS ARE RE-EXAMINED AND RE-DEFINED. THE COMMUNICATION OF ALL THINGS AND EMOTIONS IS ALSO A PROCESS OF SELF-RECONSTRUCTION. THIS KIND OF DIALOGUE IS SPATIAL AND TEMPORAL, AND IT IS ALSO THE IDENTITY OF JIANGNAN CULTURE AND MEMORY.
