Commissioned by MewiVast projectontwikkeling ConsortArchitects designed a centrally positioned business park in the Ypenburg region, close to The Hague. The business complex has been divided into 21 units with various measures. ConsortArchitects set out the lines for the areaplanning and the design of the plot as well. To attract a series of enterprises varying from small to larger companies and operating within different fields of business, the Van Deelen Businesspark was designed with a modern businesslike character. The five main office buildings are like free-standing boxes placed on top of each other. The elevations are conducted in an elegant white combined with anthracite grey, giving the complex a luxurious look. The floor planning is both practical and flexible. The multifunctional units vary in size and are equipped with self-storage space thus creating an appealing accommodation for companies that besides office space, need showroom and storage.
