Located along the coastal landscape of Urla, İzmir, the project is designed as a refined residential settlement where architecture is shaped by the rhythm of the terrain, the sea view, and the character of the Aegean landscape. Rather than creating a dense coastal development, the masterplan proposes a calm and layered living environment in which villas, terraced houses, pedestrian routes, gardens, and waterfront spaces are integrated into a continuous landscape experience.
The site organization follows the natural slope of the land, allowing the residential units to be positioned in a way that preserves visual openness towards the sea. Detached villas and terraced residences are distributed across the site with careful attention to privacy, orientation, and outdoor living. Each unit is supported by gardens, terraces, shaded open areas, and direct relationships with the surrounding landscape, creating a strong connection between daily life and the coastal setting.
The architectural language is based on a contemporary interpretation of Aegean living. Natural stone walls, light-toned surfaces, timber elements, wide terraces, and deep overhangs define a warm yet restrained material character. The buildings are designed with simple horizontal lines and generous openings, allowing interior spaces to extend towards gardens, pools, terraces, and sea views.
Landscape design plays a defining role in the identity of the project. Olive trees, lavender, coastal planting, stone retaining walls, pedestrian paths, and terraced gardens create a soft transition between architecture and nature. Social areas, the shoreline, and the pier are conceived as part of the daily living experience, supporting a lifestyle shaped by walking, gathering, resting, and being close to the sea.
The project offers a contemporary coastal settlement model for Urla, combining privacy with shared outdoor life, architectural clarity with landscape sensitivity, and modern residential comfort with the natural atmosphere of the Aegean coast.
