"Urban mirror cube" is a multipurpose, flexible and
"mimetic" space.
It’s a space inspired by
classical and modern culture and the roots of Europe.
The project is a container where inside it you can get: city history,
information and news, books and newspapers, images, internet, cinema, theater,
but also leisure and rest from wandering through the city.
The "cube" turn in a "non-cube" because of its "mimesis" gets the form of the urban
environment,landscape, people.
But it is anyway a symbolic "cube" as the
Louvre pyramid or the Odyssey 2001
black stone.
But also it is a
classroom, a cafè, a library or all together in a tower !
It can be also a “refined” break in wandering the city for tourism,
work, barter, idleness ..
A stop full of suspended meanings and thoughts ...
Parts of the cube are elementary but moderns archetypes of
architecture: beams, columns, panels, stairs ...
Whole is a replicant sign throught Europe and the world: a "witness"
recognizable town to town,
“messages in a box” that unites the peoples in a “virtual" window,when
Paris “sees” London, London sees NY , Wien Bejing or Hong Kong.
