Brief: An extended and developed exercise in macro planning issues.
Program:The project's objective was to develop the proposal through a documentation process ultimately resulting in a complete set of working drawings. The program explored the systematic documentation and communication of the detailed design, and included a comprehensive site plan, core design, tower floor plans, base development/support facilities/parking layouts, suite plans, elevation and envelope development.
Site:The site chosen for this project was a difficult site. It was difficult because of its location and proximity with major dominant buildings in Chicago. It was a difficult project because of the site dimensions that will require innovative solutions both architecturally and economically.
