Design brief:
The 2nd superior architecture student competition was about to rethinking of urban façade, which students should creative and extensive solutions for buildings. Unfortunately urban view in most of our cities looks like a blended face of many styles, so this event was held to absorb public awareness about this unpleasant situation. Our design main idea based on two factors, first protection approach and second, sustainability. Selected buildings are aged about 60 years and workshops and small warehouses working are existing there.About sustainability and energy conservation, these building’s façade are made of inferior and outdated glass surface.The underlying view, we replaced it with glass walls and try to control heat and energy. In addition, the network of mechanical panels in the next layer to adjust exposure conditions. By analyzing the current situation, main elements of all three buildings were extracted which are, main structure, glazed glass and HVAC installations and advertising signs.
