In conjunction with a symposium addressing the changes facing urban design as a result of increasingly limited supplies of fossil fuels, we worked with the Penn Institute for Urban Research to develop an exhibit that would engage this theme.  While serving to educate visitors, the exhibit was also designed to minimize environmental impact.  Lighting loads were reduced by using low wattage fixtures powered by a portable solar panel and boards were printed directly onto an eco-friendly substrate.
