The main purpose of this project is to present a new concept in Barcelona ecological social awareness. Having in mind the importance of the city'sarchitectonichal wealth, as it is the Cerdá widening and its urban quality, we intend to place this building in harmony with the city itself and itsnatural surroundings.In this sense, we attempt to create a building-park that constantly interacts with the social life and the green spaces we detected around theSarriá avenue.By the other elevations, we create an urban front in relation with the existing urban fabric, respecting their heights, and bringing a full sunlightusing the convenient volumen configuration.We understand the city as a body interconnected by multiple factors. Barcelona has a particular set of patio-blocks, which is reinterpreted in ourparty.This building was conceived to be like a sub-system of the city: a living structure opened towards the environment from which it gets its energy,water from rain, and air, distributing them to its different quadrants.The electric refueling sector is connected to the main structure that provides power through photovoltaic panels. The long-lasting battery,establishes new parameters that could make us think in a sort of gas station. Arises the idea of a park that tends to tighten up social ties, anddevelop the enviromental awareness and eco-friendly culture by performing exhibitions, conferences, and films. The old concept of the gasstation as a nowhere becomes a new qualified place. The electric vehicle allows a straight relation with nature, because of the low enviromentimpact, the quiet operation, and the consumption of clean energy.
