Comprising 5.5 acres in the heart of downtown Park Ridge, this development was a public-private venture designed to spark the renewal of this transit-oriented community’s commercial center.
Combining 198 units between rowhomes and condominiums with 80,000 SF of retail, the planning and building massing was designed to create a sense of place, provide scenic views towards the landmark Pickwick Theatre, and weave pedestrian connections between existing downtown commercial areas.
Each building’s design drew inspiration from the existing fabric of Park Ridge’s architecture and featured a rich array of materials and details. The development has won numerous awards and has exceeded the project’s original urban planning and economic goals.
