Upgrade of the existing 12,470 VOlt medium voltage distribution system was a significant component of the electrical design for this project. The source of medium voltage power for thisbuilding was a spare switch of an existing 6-way medium voltage load break SF-6 gas switch in existing manhole MH31D. A new 12,470 VOlt medium voltage feeder was extended from this switch through existing Manholes MH33, MH32A, MH32, MH31, and MH331 to two new 4-way above -ground medium voltage load break switches. A new medium voltage vacuum interrupter load break switch was added and feed from one of the new load break switches. The vacuum interrupter switch feed two padmounted oil-filled transformers, a 750 KVA transformer for 277/480 Volt loads and a 500 KVA tranformer for 120/208 Volt Loads.
