Next to the existing two studients accomodations buildings in the modern and dynamic Klaipėda University, a new A++ energy class accomodation building will be built. On the roof of it is planned to install photovoltaic modules. The appearance of the building and the environment is adapted to the appearance of the main building of the university and the two adjacent dormitories.
Almost four thousand sq. m building will have 141 rooms
12 family-style rooms on the first floor for temporary teaches for the convenience of visiting university, along with an additional 20 places for students and a dedicated gym,
on the second floor, 174 single or double places for students, which are grouped in blocks where it is planned to install separate sanitary units that will be shared by a maximum of 3 people, 7 rooms adapted for people with disabilities, two of which are for people with mobility disabilities. There are elevators between floors.
The building complies with Lithuanian acoustic comfort class C, the rooms are provided with greater acoustic comfort to limit noise and echo in the rooms.
