This facility is a 36,000 SF office building including a 5,000 SF data center and a 112,000 SF ISO7/ISO8 clean room facility for the manufacture of medical devices. Additional facilities include quality control laboratories and cGMP warehousing of in-process and final product storage. The project was executed under a FastTrack delivery method to ensure a fully-commissioned facility to meet contracted manufacturing commitments.
The office building exterior façade materials are composite aluminum panels with a myca paint finish and anodized aluminum and glass horizontal glazing assembly using a “Low E” high performance glass. The end of the office building exhibits a large glazed area expressing the CEO’s office. The entrance to the building is defined by a glass and metal portal expressing the double height volume of the entrance lobby. The volume of the office building is such that the diagonal façade form hided the mechanical units on the roof. The cGMP facility uses vertical insulated precast concrete panels for issues of cost, speed of construction and durability.
A second phase is planned for the cGMP facility that will measure 75,000 SF.
