Una Park is a visionary project for a compact, walkable, and sustainable neighborhood where human experience and the natural landscape converge as the focal points of urban sphere. Public spaces serve as the stage for this harmonious integration, fostering connections and elevating quality of life. The design promotes balance and identity through a cohesive network of streets, squares, a central park, and green infrastructure. This approach ensures conceptual and compositional unity across all scales, creating an inviting, safe, and vibrant open space system.
These spaces encourage interaction and cater to a wide range of activities throughout the day. They are designed for visual richness, flexibility and diverse uses, offering amenities such as outdoor gyms, sports courts, jogging paths, playgrounds, pet parks, contemplative areas and more. Throughout the intervention area, thoughtful vegetation placement, lighting, and material selection enhance comfort and provide a cohesive visual identity. Thus, the design creates unique moments alongside the natural surroundings, including a nearby mountain range, blending its unique views and beauty into daily experiences. Native plants and naturalized solutions are prioritized to create dense greenery and ensure biodiversity and ecological resilience.
Una Park is centered around a dynamic multifunctional central park that harmoniously merges community life with sustainable design. Serving as both a public gathering space and a macrodrainage system, it manages rainwater through a thoughtfully designed Wetland Garden—functioning as a key ecological feature and a visual centerpiece. Topographical shifts guide water into this garden, while an elevated walkway invites visitors to engage with the landscape from new vantage points. Thus, additional natural experiences are integrated, including a scenic lookout and terraced seating areas. The park also supports a revegetation initiative focused on native and endangered species. Una Park illustrates the synergy between human activity and ecological systems, placing landscape as the driving force for a thrivingand sustainable community.
