Intended to replace the current crude security tent at the entrance of the General Assembly, the proposed structure would contextually resolve the building versus site in terms of engaging the existing monumental architecture and surroundings of the site. The relationships investigated throughout the project are: horizontal versus vertical logic, stacking and cladding systems, thickness versus thinness in shell and partitions, force acting on an object and most important, the unraveling of form and this is interpreted sectionally.
