Helix was retained by the University of Missouri System to repurpose Katz Hall for the department of Architecture, Planning + Design. Designed in 1964 by the prestigious modern architects Kivett & Myers, the building was originally used for the school's Pharmacy department. Helix led a variety of stake holders through a systematic analysis of how the new program would fit into the existing building and designed a flexible space to allow the program to continue to evolve to meet students' changing needs.
