SchenkelShultz, in association with Robert A.M. Stern Architects, designed the new University of Florida School of Business Building (Heavener Hall), which is designed to achieve LEED® Gold certification. The new 54,600 SF building serves as the new home for undergraduate students in the Warrington College of Business Administration and includes classrooms, study rooms, academic advisement areas, a student café and faculty offices. A unique element of the Heavener Hall is the Student Commons, a centralized area on the first floor of the building, which is designed to foster opportunities for collaborative, as well as independent learning.
