Commisioned by my parents, the design, planning application, building regulations application were all done by myself. The project called for the reconfiguration of the currently confused and antiquated relationship between served and servant spaces. With the Scullery removed, the kitchen and dining room expands to the north in an open, undulating structure of pitched roofs- a structure which frames the surrounding landscape and allows the client to enjoy the height and beauty of an open roof space.
